We have developed an innovative skill-sponsorships model between Passerelles Numériques and Accenture, then with many other partners including Steria, ECS, Novell, Osiatis, Econocom… The companies guarantee the professionalism of projects and their quality and in doing so share skills and experience that builds trust and pride.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[In Cambodia, The rural areas are highly disadvantaged: 34.70% of the population is poor, and 90% of the poor are rural. 30% of kids is severely affected and half of them have delayed of growth (2/3 of young people receive only 2 meals a day). Farming mainly focused on rice field for own survival with very hard working conditions. Severe land shortage: 20% of the population has no land and 25% own less than 0.5 ha. In the countryside, there is almost no irrigation, no electricity and the access to education is dramatically low, especially for girls!]]></description>

Also to gain knowledge about business environment, to enrich the understanding of the practical IT usage and continuously practice the professional behaviour, we organize 3 company visits each quarter. So the students of the class SNA 2011 C were lucky to visit CSA: the Company which manages the Phnom Penh International Airport.]]></description>

So to have a good eyesight  is very important! Eye Care, the largest optical chain store in Cambodia, fells very concerned by this health problem and our mission. They decide to help us in a fantastic and solidarity act: they provide our students and former students with eyes exam and glasses …for free!]]></description>

The objective of mini IT project, manage by Mr. Sok Vatanak, our IT DOP trainer, is to make the students DOP2010 to be master .NET framework, C#, and other client side languages. Moreover, it aims to improve the student communication and negotiation skill by working in group, and communicate with the virtual client (Mr Sok Vatanak, project tutor and supervisor).]]></description>

They work for Equitycam, a website of Equity Programmes broadcasting on State channel TVK. This is a UNDP (United Nation Development Program &amp; TVK initiative under the umbrella project "Strengthening Democracy and Electoral Processes in Cambodia". The guiding principle of  Equity Programmes is to cover news in a fair and balanced way.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Most of our students are supported by individual donors. This French god mother or (and) god father and the student communicate by mail during all this partnership. In spite of the distance, talking about the school, the life, the exam, the daily life, they succeed in becoming very close. And sometimes, a big event happen in this relation: our students have the surprise and joy to meet these sponsors who have made the trip up to Cambodia to visit them. It was the case of Bunleang, Leakhena, Savuth and Ou Neam who received their sponsors of association APSARA Carole Louchart. They tell us this nice day of brotherhood and solidarity.]]></description>

Thursday, the victory over genocide day, is a day to remember, a day to try to understand, a day to explain to the next generation our past to escape this horror in the future. To commemorate it, CIST DOP students went to Toul Sleng museum. A big step back in this dark side of their history, which create emotion and comments and made the students realize what their families lived.]]></description>
